Budget approved for field renovation

The Piqua Junior Baseball & Softball League began their journey in 2020 as a new organization. It didn't take long for all of their hard work to pay off. The PJBSL Board Members have a vision for the park. A part of that vision is to begin renovating the baseball and softball fields at Pitsenbarger Park.

With the help of local business sponsorships as well as hard work in the concession stand the PJBSL Board was able to pass a $70,000 budget proposal which will be used to transform Field 4. Additionally they hope to have enough in reserve to make a few changes to the T-Ball field. Board President Nathan Penrod said "this is way overdue". Penrod is excited to begin the renovation project and hopes the citizens and most of all players will love the changes.

The PJBSL is working with Game On Logistics, based out of Pleasant Hill, for the renovation. Penrod hopes to begin the project by the end of July.
